The only stride you run 4 copies of, Taiten benefits from having multiple copies of himself flipped up in the G-zone so running max copies does make sense so you are able to get the full benefit of the card. Typically, this is gonna be your main field sweeper and it is supposed to punish your opponent's from committing too much units on the field. This also enables your Blademaster support cards to activate and since this Vanguard has an inherent extra critical, the Jannats that you would be using to boost up Taiten are extremely important because they probably don't want to take a 2 critical Triple Drive attack and that would force more cards out of their hand.
He does have the Blaze skill which would mean that you would need to have more units that your opponent to be able to get the extra critical assuming this would retire 2-3 rear-guards when you Stride into him, you would probably be able to achieve the Blaze state. Overall he is just a solid card to have against most matchups.
